How to Load
After you download a .ics file — or copy a calendar link — from Create a plan, use these short steps to load it into your calendar. Official vendor help is linked when you need more detail.
Tip: When you import the .ics or subscribe by URL, put the plan on its own calendar (for example, “Bible reading”). Later you can remove every reading by deleting that one calendar.
Gmail / Google Calendar
- Prefer a live calendar: on Create a plan or About the Plans, tap Copy calendar link (copies the absolute .ics URL).
- On a computer, open Google Calendar → settings gear → Settings → Add calendar → From URL (or Import & export for a one-time file).
- Paste the link you copied, then Add calendar. Google will fetch updates from that URL over time.
- One-time file import: Download your .ics, then Settings → Import & export → choose the file and Import.
- Events appear as Free so they should not block meetings on your day.

Outlook
- Download your .ics file from Bible Calendar Creator.
- In Outlook on the web: go to Calendar → Add calendar → Upload from file.
- Select the .ics file and choose which calendar should receive the events.
- In classic Outlook desktop: File → Open & Export → Import/Export → Import an iCalendar (.ics) file.
- Readings show as Free / free time where the app respects ICS transparency.

iOS (iPhone / iPad)
- Create a plan and About the Plans emphasize Copy calendar link on iPhone — both Download and Copy stay available.
- Apple Calendar: tap Download .ics. Safari usually opens Apple Calendar; choose a calendar and confirm Add.
- Google Calendar: do not rely on Safari’s .ics handoff. Tap Copy calendar link, then follow iPhone → Google Calendar below (Add by URL or Save to Files).
- If Download only previews the file: email the .ics to yourself, open it in Mail, and add from there — or import on a Mac and sync via iCloud.
- All-day readings stay on the day view without claiming busy time.

iPhone → Google Calendar
- Safari’s Download .ics opens Apple Calendar by default. Skip Download if you want Google.
- Best path: on Create a plan or About the Plans, tap Copy calendar link (absolute .ics URL).
- On a computer (or desktop-mode browser), open Google Calendar → Settings → Add calendar → From URL, paste the link you copied, then Add calendar.
- Alternate: Share/Download → Save to Files → import that .ics on a computer via Google Calendar Import & export (or upload from Drive).
- After Google has the calendar, it syncs to the Google Calendar app on your iPhone. Events remain Free.

Android
- Download the .ics file in Chrome (or open it from Drive / Files).
- Tap the file. If prompted, open it with Google Calendar (or your preferred calendar app).
- Confirm the destination calendar when the app asks where to add events.
- Or use Copy calendar link and Add by URL in Google Calendar on the web, then sync to your phone.
- Events are Free so they typically leave your schedule open for other plans.
